Conference & hospitality
Hybrid events.
A house crew of one.
Keynotes, panels and breakouts all need to be streamed and recorded now, but hiring a switcher operator per room eats the margin. Clients expect the speaker and their slides on screen together, sent to their platform, with a clean recording for on-demand — and the house crew is one or two people.
The problem
Every client wants hybrid. Your AV team is already stretched.
DeckCam lets one house operator run a room like a broadcast. Presets cover the stage wide, the podium, the panel and the audience; layouts put the speaker and their slides side by side or picture-in-picture. Tap the next shot, cut, and the feed streams to the client's platform.
Record the program and every camera in ISO so you can hand the client an on-demand cut afterward. Because pricing is per venue, every camera in the ballroom is covered — and the same operator can run the next session without re-licensing.
What you'll use
The production tools that matter here.
Preset shots
Stage wide, podium, panel and audience saved as shots for instant recall.
Preview / Live
Line up the next speaker or angle unseen, then cut clean between sessions.
Layouts
Put the speaker and their slides side by side or picture-in-picture.
Media & titles
Roll sponsor bumpers, session titles and lower-thirds without leaving the app.
Stream anywhere
Deliver the feed to the client's Zoom, Teams, YouTube or custom RTMP platform.
Record everything
ISO-record every camera and the program for a clean on-demand deliverable.
Typical setup
A ballroom setup
PTZ cameras cover the stage, podium and audience and feed a house PC; the operator works from a browser at the FOH position. A slide capture feeds the layouts as a picture-in-picture source.
- Stage wide for the full set
- Podium / keynote close-up
- Panel two- or three-shot
- Audience and Q&A microphone
- Slide / presentation feed for picture-in-picture

Questions, answered
Can one operator run multiple rooms?
One operator runs one room live, but per-venue pricing means you can equip several rooms and rotate staff between sessions without paying per camera or per room license.
Can we show slides and the speaker together?
Yes. Layouts put the slide feed and the speaker side by side or picture-in-picture, and you can switch between them live.
Can we stream to the client's platform?
Yes — DeckCam sends to any RTMP destination, so you can deliver into the client's Zoom, Teams, YouTube or custom streaming setup.
Can we hand over a recording for on-demand?
Yes. Record the program on every plan and ISO-record every camera on Producer for a clean editable on-demand deliverable.
How much training does the house crew need?
Minimal — the workflow is three moves and runs in a browser, so existing AV staff pick it up fast and there's nothing to install at the desk.
